The county's standing page lists: Second Monday of each month at 10 a.m., and fourth Monday of each month at 6 p.m.It lists the Charles Smith Annex (Auditorium), 205 E Tuskeena Street, Hayneville as the venue. See the dated entries for reported venue updates.1​ The county's own words are that "The public is welcome and encouraged to attend."

To get an item on an agenda, the request has to reach the Lowndes County Commission Office by noon on the Thursday before the meeting. That is a real door, and it is open to any resident who wants an item heard rather than raised from the floor.

    Charles Smith Annex, 205 E Tuskeena Street, Hayneville3​
    Called on October 13 "to consider adoption of" the Red Clay development and tax abatement agreements, less than two minutes before the Commission approved those same agreements. The county has not said what this meeting will now decide. The Southern Environmental Law Center told reporters it will be held at the Annex on Tuskeena Street instead of the courthouse. We have not seen the county’s posted notice.4​
